Founded in 1992 in Melbourne by Diana Abruzzi, IWFCI was established to support women entering business and building international trade. Its global secretariat remains in Melbourne, coordinating national chapters and international programs.

As society and technology rapidly evolve, IWFCI continues to strengthen infrastructure and support for women — acknowledging their growing impact across commerce, community and government.
