The International Women’s Federation of Commerce and Industry Nigeria recently paid a courtesy visit to the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, where the delegation was received by the Permanent Secretary, Dr. Chris Osa Isokpunwu.
The visit provided an opportunity to formally introduce IWFCI Nigeria and explore areas of strategic collaboration aligned with the Ministry’s mandate, particularly in trade facilitation, export development, SME growth, and gender-inclusive economic empowerment.
Discussions highlighted the importance of strengthening support systems that enable women-led enterprises to thrive, while also promoting inclusive participation across the broader business ecosystem.
The engagement further emphasized opportunities to enhance access to regional and international markets through structured cross-border trade initiatives.
IWFCI Nigeria remains committed to building partnerships that drive inclusive economic growth, expand market access, and support sustainable enterprise development across Nigeria.

IWFCI Nigeria empowers women entrepreneurs through training, networking, and trade facilitation that open access to local and global markets.
